Upper School students will be spending part of Wednesday in activity and conversation about the importance of empathy. The event, primarily designed and organized by students, includes a keynote speaker from an organization called Making Caring Common, running out of the Harvard School of Education, along with discussions and a common interest activity. This is the first of a series that we are planning to deliver over the next year or so, in part to help us learn to have more productive and deliberate conversations around difficult issues in an age where that can be complicated.
