Sarah Burrill, a Prevention Specialist from FCD Prevention Works, will be meeting/working with grades 8-12 from November 2 to 5. During this forum, she’ll be sharing important information to help us better understand and talk about the issues and challenges of raising our kids to be alcohol & drug-free as they go through adolescence. She’ll also address the misperceptions that “everybody does it”, and help us to realize that substance use is not a “rite of passage” or inevitable behavior of adolescence.
